New Mexico Veterans Integration Centers Selected by Bob Woodruff Foundation to Expand Veteran Housing Stability

We are incredibly proud to announce that the New Mexico Veterans Integration Centers (NMVIC) has been selected as a grant recipient by the prestigious Bob Woodruff Foundation.

As part of their latest nationwide funding round, which represents over $6.5 million deployed across 38 programs, NMVIC is honored to be named one of only nine new grant recipients. This funding is specifically designated to fuel our ongoing mission to provide comprehensive housing and supportive services to veterans and their families right here in New Mexico.

We are deeply grateful to the Bob Woodruff Foundation for their investment, trust, and shared commitment to championing veteran housing stability and long-term self-sufficiency.

Aligning a National Vision with Local Impact

The Bob Woodruff Foundation’s current investment strategy focuses sharply on increasing stability, expanding access to care, and strengthening social connections. Nationally, this portfolio of grants is projected to improve the lives of over 20,000 service members, veterans, and military families.

At NMVIC, we see the need for this stability every single day. The foundation’s focus perfectly mirrors our boots-on-the-ground operations in New Mexico. As the Bob Woodruff Foundation noted in their announcement:

"The grants target veterans’ housing stability through a continuum of services including outreach, emergency and transitional housing, recovery housing, and comprehensive case management. These grants are designed to support veterans experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. The focus is on early intervention, sustained stabilization, and long-term self-sufficiency."

By investing in our continuum of care, this grant allows NMVIC to deepen our reach, particularly as we work to support veterans in underserved and rural areas across the state who face limited access to critical resources.

Securing a national grant of this caliber is a major validation of NMVIC’s operational transparency and data-driven impact. When major national organizations invest in our programs, it proves to our local community, donors, and corporate sponsors that our housing models work.
