Acknowledgment of Excellence

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Oct. 16, 2026 — New Mexico Veterans Integration Centers (NMVIC) proudly announces that it has received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez of New Mexico’s 2nd Congressional District. This award highlights NMVIC’s ongoing commitment to providing essential housing, behavioral health, and transitional resources to veterans in our region.

The award was presented by Representative Vasquez’s office to honor NMVIC’s impactful work in the community. Our organization uses a "No Wrong Door" approach, ensuring that we assist more than 1,100 families each year. We also provide rapid re-housing for over 325 veteran households annually, achieving a long-term housing stability rate of approximately 80 percent.

"Receiving this Special Congressional Recognition is a testament to the hard work of our entire team, our community partners, and most importantly, the resilience of the veterans we serve every day. We are deeply grateful to Representative Gabe Vasquez for recognizing our mission and standing with New Mexico’s veterans as we work to ensure every veteran has a safe place to call home." — Brock Wolff, Chief Executive Officer of NMVIC.
