Beyond Politics: Partnering for New Mexico’s Veterans- A visit by Congressman Gabe Vasquez

At the New Mexico Veterans Integration Centers, our priority is simple: serving the veterans who need us in the best ways possible.

Whether it is delivering comprehensive case management, safe housing, or emergency financial stabilization, our daily focus stays on the citizens who have sacrificed our country. As a result, we are always honored to welcome leaders from across the community and government who share that commitment. This week, we had the pleasure of hosting Congressman Gabe Vasquez at our Albuquerque campus.

During his visit, Congressman Vasquez met with our leadership team, toured our facilities, and spoke with staff directly about the vital groundwork happening in our Outreach efforts across the state, as well as at the VIC's Albuquerque headquarters, every day.

Driven by Mission, Supported by Community

Serving our veteran community is not a political issue—it is a shared human responsibility. Delivering real, direct impact requires collaboration at every level, from federal and state advocacy to local community partners and individual donors.

When elected leaders take the time to visit our campus, listen to our team, and see our operations firsthand, it reinforces the non-partisan foundation necessary to keep these essential programs moving forward. We deeply appreciate Congressman Vasquez’s time, interest, and continued support for New Mexico’s veterans.

Our Promise to New Mexican Veterans

Every single day, we strive to ensure that 90 cents of every dollar donated to "The VIC" goes directly into funding our frontline programs: housing stabilization, case management, community food bank, and other essential support.

Our donors make the mission possible; our veterans make it count.
