Every day at the New Mexico Veterans Integration Centers (NMVIC), our outreach and case management teams face a stark reality: the demand for stable veteran housing and support services across our state is growing, particularly in rural and underserved areas.

When a veteran is facing a housing crisis, experiencing family trouble, or navigating the justice system, they don’t need a run-around —they need immediate, structured assistance. Enter "The VIC."

Today, we are proud to share that PMI U.S. has invested $25,000 into our mission. This funding is directly allocated to strengthening our core housing programs and expanding our supportive services throughout New Mexico.

Moving Beyond the Statistics: Veteran Housing

While the numbers tell part of our story—such as the 1,100 families we serve annually and our 80% long-term housing stability rate—the real impact happens on the ground. This grant helps us sustain and expand the vital resources that keep our operations running smoothly:

  • Housing Stability: Funding rapid re-housing initiatives to move veterans out of homelessness and into permanent, secure homes.

  • Comprehensive Case Management: Ensuring our team can provide individualized support for veterans navigating behavioral health challenges, legal hurdles, or employment barriers.

  • Expanding Our Footprint: Supporting our strategic plans to scale our transitional housing campus and extend our outreach into rural and tribal communities where resources are thin.

Operational Transparency

As part of our commitment to organizational integrity and transparency, we want our community, our partners, and our Board of Directors to know exactly how these investments move our mission forward. Corporate and community grants like this one provide the baseline stability required to keep our "No Wrong Door" policy functional. When an eligible veteran walks through our doors looking for help, we ensure they receive a tailored, practical plan to regain independence.

We are deeply grateful to PMI U.S. for their investment in our programs, and to our local community for standing alongside us as we work to end veteran homelessness in New Mexico.
