The shuttle operates a fixed route and is 10-passenger bus with a trained Peer Support Specialist on board and can help passengers navigate their way to appointments and provide support.

The Community Shuttle is funded through a grant from the city of Albuquerque.

You can reach the Community Shuttle at 505-569-3530 to let the Shuttle know a rider is waiting or to determine the estimated time to your organization.

The following stops are "As Requested" stops on the Shuttle route and will be available between 9:00 - 10:00 AM and 2:30-3:30 PM. Route times may change because of these stops: Care Detox (formerly MATS), Barelas Community Center, Barrett House, Income Support (Lumberton), Steelbridge, VA Hospital, UNM Pharmacy, VA Medical Center, and Wells Park Community Center.

No Shuttle service between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM

The VIC’s Board of Directors hold an Open Meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of each month unless otherwise posted.
