NM Veterans’ Integration Center Receives $25K Donation

(ALBUQUERQUE, NM)-The state President of the New Mexico American Legion Riders presented a check for $25,000 to the New Mexico Veterans’ Integration Centers (NMVIC) today, kicking off the New Mexico Veterans’ Challenge.

Aaron Dean presented the check at a ceremony inside the NMVIC administrative office to NMVIC President Rose James and New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (NMDVS) Cabinet Secretary Timothy Hale.

Along with the check, the group also donated 15 new men’s and women’s mountain bikes to the center. The monetary donation along with the bikes purchased by the Legion Riders were the result of a year-long fundraising effort by the organization to collect money for its Operation Wounded Warrior drive to raise money for wounded or needy veterans.
